Deleting mailbox folders

Note: The Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Junk Mail, and Trash folders cannot be deleted.

The process of deleting mailbox folders will vary depending on your webmail client of choice:

Roundcube

You can delete a mailbox folder in Roundcube by following these steps:

  1. Open the Settings task from the main menu.
  2. Select the Folders setting.
  3. Select the folder that you wish to delete from the folder list.
  4. Click on the Delete button from the top toolbar in the Elastic theme or click on the gear icon from the folder list footer and select the Delete option from the menu in the Larry theme.
  5. Click on the Delete button from the pop-up confirmation window that appears.

Webmail Classic

To delete mailbox folders via Webmail Classic, you should:

  1. Access the Manage Folders page by clicking on the Manage Folders button near the bottom of the Folder Status section (folder list).
  2. Select the checkboxes next to the folders you wish to delete.
  3. Click on the Delete button.
  4. Click on the OK button from the pop-up confirmation window to complete the process.
