Emptying mailbox foldersThe actual process of emptying folders will vary depending on your webmail client of choice:
Roundcube
You can empty the Junk Mail and Trash mailbox folders in Roundcube from the folder list by following these steps:
- Open the Mail task from the main menu.
- Select the Junk Mail or Trash folder from the folder list.
- Click on the vertical ellipsis symbol (⋮) from the header of the folder list in the Elastic theme or the gear icon from the footer of the folder list in the Larry theme.
- Select Empty from the menu to empty the selected folder.
If you wish to empty another mailbox folder with Roundcube, you should:
- Open the Settings task from the main menu.
- Select the Folders setting.
- Select the folder that you wish to empty from the folder list.
- Click on the Empty button from the top toolbar in the Elastic theme, or click on the gear icon from the footer of the folder list and select the Empty option in the Larry theme.
- Click on the Delete button in the confirmation window that appears to delete all the messages from the selected folder.
Webmail Classic
Emptying the Junk Mail and Trash mailbox folders can be achieved very easily via Webmail Classic. All you need to do is:
- Click on the empty button next to these folders from the Folder Status section (folder list)
- Click on the OK button in the pop-up confirmation window.
You can also choose another or multiple folders to empty by following these steps:
- Click on the Manage Folders button near the bottom of the Folder Status section (folder list) to access the Manage Folders page.
- Select the checkboxes next to the folders you wish to empty.
- Click on the Empty button.
- Click on the OK button from the pop-up confirmation window to delete all messages from the selected folders.
